(Jamestown, ND) --  A Jamestown man is accused of injuring a police officer at a bar.

That injury happened late last week, when a bartender at the corner bar called police saying a customer wouldn't leave. Officers encountered Justin Simmons, who authorities say injured one of the responding officers as they took him into custody. The injured officer did not require medical treatment.

Simons was taken to the Stutsman County Corrections Center. He faces criminal Trespassing and Preventing Arrest.
