(Bismarck, ND) -- Governor Doug Burgum has appointed Colby Braun to serve as director of the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Braun has served as interim director since January 1st.
He has been a warden of the North Dakota Penitentiary as well as a transitional facilities director.
Braun also served as warden of the North Dakota Women's Correctional and Rehabilitation Center.
