(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minneapolis City Council is expected to take a full vote today on a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

The Committee of the Whole voted nine-to-three in favor of the resolution on Tuesday. It condemns the targeting and killing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians. Now the city is expected to take up the vote.

Those who voted against the resolution say it should recognize Hamas as a terrorist group.
