(Mandan, ND) -- A benefit is planned in Mandan to help the family of a police officer killed in the line of duty.
Mercer County Deputy Paul Martin died in early December during a police chase. Ian Cramer is charged with manslaughter and fleeing an officer after Deputy Martin was hit and killed as he laid spike strips to deflate the tires of the car Cramer was driving.
The benefit for Martin is next Saturday, February 3rd, from 4 to 11 p.m. at the Mandan Moose Lodge Number 425 on 11th Avenue Northeast in Mandan.
