Burgum says he hasn't made a decision on endorsement in Governor's race

(Bismarck, ND) — Congressman Kelly Armstrong has announced that he’s running for Governor. Several others, including Lieutenant Governor Tammy Miller, Public Service Commissioner Julie Fedorchak and others are mulling a potential run for the top job in North Dakota.

Has Governor Doug Burgum endorsed someone to run in the race? If not, will he?

“I haven’t made a decision on that,” Burgum said. “We’ll wait and see who fills out the field, and see how things develop. Obviously, I’ve got a deep care about making sure that we’re heading in the right direction. But I’m very encouraged that it looks like we’re going to have a strong field of people that are seeking the position, and that’s always a good thing.”

Burgum announced earlier this week that he will not seek a third term.
