Monthly North Dakota oil production slips

(Bismarck, ND)  --  Oil production in the state is down in December from November.  

Production numbers are about two months behind when they are released.

This report was issued by State Mineral Resources on Thursday.  

In December over one-million-273-thousand barrels of oil a day was produced compared to about one-million-279-thousand-barrels a day produced in November.  

More than 18-thousand-750 wells are producing oil statewide.
