(Grand Forks, ND) -- Republican lawmaker Scott Meyer of Grand Forks has announced his re-election campaign for the state Senate.

Meyer was elected in 2016 and represents District 18. He's vice-chairman of the Legislative Audit and Fiscal Review Committee, and is on several other state committees.

If re-elected, Meyer says he hopes to focus on securing funding for local infrastructure projects, as well as UND's goals, passing quality-of-life legislation for our military members and their families, and protecting citizens' rights.
