Minnesota's Capitol complex has 120 state flags that will be replaced in May

(St. Paul, MN)  --  The Minnesota State Capitol plans to exchange 120 state flags with newly designed flags in less than two months.  

Early this year, the state spent several weeks taking an inventory of all the state flags and seals in 23 buildings used by the government.  

There are also 71 versions of the current seal in ten buildings located in the Capitol complex.  

The changeover from the current flags and seal at the Capitol is set for Statehood Day on May 11.
