(Grand Forks. ND) -- The Grand Forks Sheriff's Office needs to find another place to work.
The sheriff and his deputies and staff are currently housed on the second floor of the police department's headquarters on Fifth Street.
That space is part of the expansion for the police department which is slated for renovation in the next two years.
County Administrator Tom Ford told the Grand Forks Herald the sheriff's office can consider building a new office or purchasing a building.
Other options include rehabbing an existing building or moving into the county office building when Grand Forks Public Health moves out.
