Man accused of punching hospital security guard at Altru hospital

(Grand Forks, ND) -- A man who police say punched a hospital security guard in Grand Forks faces an assault charge.

The incident happened Monday at Altru Hospital, where police say Andrew Mattson tried to get into a restricted part of the building several times. A security guard was called to deal with the situation, and that's when police say Mattson punched him.

Mattson was restrained by other security guards until police arrived.
