(Fargo, ND) -- A snowstorm that moved through North Dakota over the weekend didn't bring as much snow as expected.

While forecasters warned of possible snow accumulation as deep as a foot in some areas, the heaviest snow hit farther south than expected, lowering the snow totals in North Dakota. The Winter Storm Warning that was in place for many was downgraded to a Winter Weather Advisory on Sunday. Still, strong winds from the system caused blowing snow and poor visibility.
