(Fargo, ND) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx are no longer for sale.
Owner Glen Taylor says a deadline for the new buyers has passed and that an extension was not granted.
In 2021, Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez agreed to purchase the Timberwolves from Taylor, by slowly buying shares of the team until they were the eventual majority owners.
Details on why the deal was not closed are unknown.
