Mandan man sentenced to prison for meth dealing and evidence tampering

(Mandan, ND) -- Mandan man Michael Bakke has been sentenced to five years in prison for dealing meth and tampering with evidence.

Police found more than 50 grams of meth when they pulled over a vehicle driven by Bakke. Officers overheard Bakke talking on his phone, admitting he had the drugs, and witnessed him resetting his phone to erase evidence of criminal activity.

Along with the prison sentence, he is also required to pay a $10,000 fine.
