(Fargo, ND) -- Students at a northern Minnesota high school will likely be telling stories about their recent prom long after they graduate.
The students from Pequot Lakes High School were forced to end the prom early after the dance floor at the Breezy Point Resort and Convention Center started to collapse.
Students said the floor became soft and a dent began to form.
Employees blocked off the area after determining it was unsafe.
No one was hurt and students have begun referring to the dance as "the prom that broke the floor."
