Grand Forks man in custody after authorities allege assault could have led to wife's death

(Grand Forks, ND) -- A Grand Forks man accused of assaulting his wife while she was hospitalized with cancer and chemotherapy complications has pleaded not guilty.  

Joshua Temple faces three domestic violence charges.  His wife, Whitney Temple, later died, and authorities are investigating whether she died from illness or from injuries caused by abuse.
