(WDAY Radio) -- The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is providing more than $27-million for eight water infrastructure projects on North Dakota tribal lands.

A majority of the money will go to the Turtle Mountain Public Utility Commission to replace undersized water collection lines.

The money will also go toward water diversion at Lake Sakakawea, replacement of asbestos pipes in Fort Yates, and upgrades to the Standing Rock Rural Water Treatment Plant.
