North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum criticized for out of town appearances

(Bismarck, ND)  --  Governor Doug Burgum is coming under fire from a Democratic gubernatorial candidate, who contends Burgum is not putting North Dakota first.

State Senator Merrill Piepkorn called out Burgum yesterday for what he labeled divided loyalties.

Piepkorn has been critical of Burgum's appearance last week at Donald Trump's criminal trial in New York City.

Piepkorn called the governor preoccupied and questioned his appearances outside of the state.
