Search planned at Spirit Lake Nation for Jemini Posey

SPIRIT LAKE NATION – Spirit Lake Tribal Incident Command and Jemini Posey’s family will search for the missing woman this week.

It will happen at the Wood Lake Rec Center in Tokio, North Dakota beginning at 8:00 AM on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10.

All volunteers need to check in, attend briefings and follow incident command’s directions.

The Spirit Lake Tribal Public Relations Office will provide official updates as they become available.

Posey, a 21-year-old Spirit Lake Tribe member and mother, was last seen in Fort Totten on Jan. 5, 2024. She is described as 4′8″ tall weighing 125 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes.

D’Angelo Hunt faces federal voluntary manslaughter in the death of a person identified in court documents as J.M.P. Hunt had previously been connected to Jemini Posey before she went missing in January 2024. He’s also charged with second degree murder in the death of his brother, Isaac.
