Hoeven Announces More Than $10.6 Million to Secure Border, Help North Dakota Prepare for Emergencies

 

Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Homeland Security Appropriations Committees, announced Friday, August 24, that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded over $10.6 million to the State of North Dakota, North Dakota counties and the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate tribe.

 “Today’s funding will help keep our state safe and ensure we are prepared to meet emergencies,” Hoeven said. “By making these investments, we can help ensure that our state and nation are secure and prepared for natural and other disasters.”
