(Minneapolis, MN) -- The University of Minnesota is confirming that mold has been found in dorms on its Twin Cities campus.
A university spokesperson told KARE 11 that safety officials collected samples this week and found "fungal growth" present in several areas.
The university says cleanup will begin Thursday and a full and public inspection report will be released soon.
The spot inspections were prompted by complaints from students who had found mold in their air vents.
