Timberwolves drop a pivotal game to short handed Portland

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The short handed Trail Blazers edged the Timberwolves 107-105 in Minnesota.

Shaedon Sharpe led Portland with 27 points to go with six rebounds and assists. Kevin Knox the Second scored 19 points off the bench while Skylar Mays netted 13 points and was an assist shy of a double-double. The Trail Blazers improved to 33-45.

Anthony Edwards scored 37 points for Minnesota, which fell to 39-40. The T-Wolves have lost three straight and are ninth in the Western Conference.

The Wolves will visit the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday with tip set for 6:30 p.m.
