The Minnesota Timberwolves are shaking up their roster before the trade deadline.
The Wolves came to terms on a deal for veteran guard Monte Morris from the Detroit Pistons. In exchange for Morris, Minnesota sent guards Shake MiltonĀ and Troy Brown Jr. along with a 2030 second-round pick to Detroit. Morris missed the first 43 games of the season with a right quad injury, before returning to the Pistons lineup. Last season with Washington he averaged a career-high 10.3 points and 5.3 assists per game in 62 games.
Additionally, Morris brings in playoff experience having played in 48 career playoff games (all with the Denver Nuggets).
