Two men were uninjured Thursday following a snow plow versus pickup collision on I-94 near Valley City.
According to the Highway Patrol, the incident happened at 3:32 p.m. on I-94 eastbound at mile marker 293, when a 2015 Chevy Silverado drove into the snow fog, created by the snow plow, rear ending the plow.
The Chevy was driven by 28-year-old Matthew Klar, of Hinckley, Minn., who was uninjured in the crash and cited for ‘following too close’. His vehicle was totaled.
The snow plow operator, a 54-year-old male, was uninjured. This was the second time he has been struck this winter. The Mack snow plow had minor damage.
