Moorhead High Theater Presents “Winnie-the-Pooh” & Special Play Day Event

 

The Moorhead High School theater department presents the family-friendly spring production of “Winnie-the-Pooh” on April 25-28 with a special Winnie-the-Pooh Play Day for preschool to elementary age children on Saturday, April 27.

The only thing Pooh likes better than an adventure is eating honey. Pooh sets out with his best intentions to save his good friend Piglet, but on his search he ends up eating so many snacks that he gets stuck in Rabbit's door. Who will rescue Pooh? Will Pooh make it to his own birthday party? Join Pooh and his friends in the 100 Acre Wood as this family-friendly story of friendship unfolds.

Moorhead High School’s performances of “Winnie-the-Pooh” will be at 7 p.m. April 25, 26 and 27 and 2:30 p.m. April 27 and 28 in the Moorhead High School auditorium, 2300 4th Ave. S. Tickets can be reserved online at https://www.moorheadschools.org/tix or by calling 218-284-2255. Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets (age 18 and younger) are $6. Tickets also may be purchased at the door.

The sign language interpreted performance will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 28. Patrons requiring sign language services should reserve priority seating through the box office at 218-284-2255.

A special Winnie-the-Pooh Play Day will be from noon-2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Moorhead High. The “Winnie-the-Pooh” cast, crew and parents are hosting the fundraising play day for children ages preschool through elementary age. Children can mingle with cast doing activities like face painting, Kanga races, hopscotch, pin the tail on Eeyore, learning a Pooh dance, story time, coloring, photo opportunities with characters, and treat time. The $20 admission for the Winnie-the-Pooh Play Day includes one ticket to the 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, performance of “Winnie-the-Pooh.” Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
