A 67-year-old Valley City man is dead after he failed to negotiate a curve in Barnes County. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Kim Foell was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram westbound on County Highway 20 Saturday evening when he failed to negotiate the curve and drove off the north side of County 20. The pickup vaulted over County 17 and landed in a field just west of the intersection where it rolled over. Foell was not wearing his seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
