Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded a $1,026,025 grant to fund a Washburn Intake Improvement project. This project includes replacing the current raw water intake and pump house to ensure water is available during low-flood events.
“Today’s funding will help replace the old water system, helping mitigate health risks and ensure clean water is available to the community regardless of water levels,” said Hoeven.
