After a 1-0 and 8-1 sweep of the Colorado College Tigers last weekend, the University of North Dakota men's hockey team is back atop the national polls, the University said on Monday.
UND earned all but one first place vote in both the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls.
The Fighting Hawks return to the ice at Ralph Engelstad Arena next Friday and Saturday, February 14 and 15, against the Denver Pioneers.
UND is 14-1 at Ralph Engelstad Arena this season and is riding a three-game winning streak heading into the series against Denver.
