USHL's Top Goalie Announces College Commitment

Fargo Force Goaltender Matej Marinov has committed to playing college hockey at Quinnipiac University. The Fargo Force announced his commitment to Bobcat Hockey on their social media accounts on Tuesday evening.

Marinov leads the USHL with a 1.96 GAA (goals against average) and a 0.928 SV% (save percentage) on the season. Marinov boasts a fantastic 13-0-0-2 record as a starter for the Force this season. Marinov was also selected to play for his home country of Slovakia in the most recent World Junior tournament. Marinov has garnered the USHL Goaltender of the week honors twice this season. In two seasons with the Fargo Force, Marinov has an overall record of 22-6-1-3 with a 2.76 GAA and a 0.904 SV %. 

Marinov and the Force return to the ice Friday night in Waterloo, IA to take on the Black Hawks with puck drop scheduled for 7:05 P.M.
