(Lincoln, AL) -- Kyle Larson is hoping to climb the NASCAR Cup Series leaderboard at lengthy Talladega Speedway for the GEICO 500 this weekend. The number-5 car took home the checkered flag at Martinsville in the NOCO 400 last weekend and sits fourth in the standings.
Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain and Kevin Harvick make up the top three while Martin Truex Jr is fifth. Larson is the only driver to win multiple races this season, with his first victory coming at Richmond Raceway earlier this month.
The drivers roll into NASCAR's biggest track Sunday afternoon.
