(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Dodgers won a thrilling game against the Twins 9-8 in 12 innings in Los Angeles.
Trayce Thompson drew a bases loaded walk with two outs in the bottom of the 12th to give the Dodgers the victory.

Los Angeles led 5-1 through three innings, but Minnesota tied the game with a three-run homer from Trevor Larnach in the top of the eighth.

The Twins took a one-run lead in the top of the tenth, but JD Martinez had an RBI single to keep the Dodgers alive. Max Muncy went deep twice in the victory, while Will Smith also homered. Phil Bickford picked up the win in relief. The Dodgers have won 14 of their last 16.
Jorge Lopez was charged with his first loss out of the bullpen. The loss ends Minnesota's two-game winning streak.
The Twins and Dodgers will continue their series Tuesday night with first pitch set for 9:10 p.m. Bailey Ober will get the nod for Minnesota.
