(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Vikings are back at the bottom of the NFC North following a 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at US Bank Stadium.

The game was tied at halftime, but Minnesota allowed back-to-back touchdown drives to begin the second half. Kirk Cousins made it a one-score game when he hit Alexander Mattison for a nine-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, but Minnesota turned the ball over on downs on its next possession, and Kirk Cousins was sacked on a Hail Mary attempt on the last play of the game. To make matters worse, Justin Jefferson injured his hamstring in the second half and did not return to the game. Cousins passed for 284 yards and two scores in the losing effort.

The 1-4 Vikings visit the 1-4 Bears on Sunday.
