(Eagan, MN) -- The Vikings top player missed voluntary offseason workouts yesterday.
Justin Jefferson was absent from the workouts as he enters the final season of his rookie deal. Jefferson and the Vikings have been working towards a contract extension since before last season. Head coach Kevin O'Connell told reporters that he would love to have Jefferson at the workouts, but he also understands that there are other factors at play.
Jefferson missed seven games due to injury last season but still caught 68 passes for 1,074 yards and five touchdowns.
