Wolves fall to 76ers

(Philadelphia, PA) -- The Timberwolves couldn't slow down Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey during a 127-113 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center.

The game was tight through three quarters before Minnesota was outscored 37-26 in the fourth quarter to give Philly the win. Maxey and Embiid combined for 86 points against the Wolves defense. Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 27.

The Wolves remain at the top of the Western Conference at 20-6. Minnesota hosts the Lakers on Thursday night.
