(Minneapolis, MN) -- A former Twins All-Star could become a first-ballot Hall of Famer this evening.
The MLB will reveal the 2024 Baseball Hall of Fame class tonight. Former Twins catcher Joe Mauer is on the ballot for the first time, and his name needs to appear on 75-percent of returns from the Baseball Writers' Association of America. Just over 50-percent of ballots have already been made public, and Mauer is polling at over 80-percent.
The Hall of Fame class will be revealed on MLB Network at 5:00 p.m.
