RedHawks suffer first loss of 2026 season in Cleburne

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks late comeback bid fell short as they dropped their first game of the season to the Cleburne Railroaders 7-6 on Monday.

Hunter Day gave up six runs over six innings and was tagged with the loss. Angelo Cabral tossed two innings, giving up one run in relief.

Jake Hjelle hit a three-run homer, his second of the season. Dillon Thomas added a two-run home run, also his second of the season. Jairus Richards tallied an RBI.

Fargo-Moorhead fell to 4-1 on the season. The RedHawks and Railroaders will continue their series on Tuesday evening with the first pitch scheduled for 7:06 p.m.
