ND Unemployment Rate Down

 

Job Service North Dakota reported that labor statistics released today show North Dakota’s July not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 2.4 percent. It was 0.5 of a percentage point lower from June’s rate, and 0.1 of a percentage point higher than July 2017.
The June 2018 to July 2018 change in unemployment was 2,048, a decrease of 20.7 percent, which is a normal trend for July. The over-the-year-change (July 2017 to July 2018) in unemployment was 168, a decrease of 1.7 percent.
The national unemployment rate for July was 4.1 percent.
