Retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant Justin Minyard Shares His Story

Retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant Jusin Minyard visited the West Fargo VFW to share his story of tribulation and triumph. While serving our country Justin suffered many injurys that have ended up damaging his back to the point where it was negatively effecting his life. As Justin shares how he overcame the pain, an opioid addiction, and ultimately was given a second chance at life with the help of a device called a spinal cord stimulator.

A Decorated War Hero Shares His Story

Retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant Justin Minyard visited the West Fargo VFW to share his story about his struggles and triumphs from serving in to military to his civilian life once he returned back home. After being injured several times while serving including falling out of a helicopter and having a wall collapse on his while searching for survivors after 9/11 Justin has been dealing with severe back problems. Justin also spoke about how he overcame an opioid addiction and had a device implanted called a spinal cord stimulator that blocks out a large portion of the pain he normally would feel so he can live his normal day to day life again. The event was put on by the Center for Pain Medicine along with Boston Scientific.
