HHS awards $1.7 million Head Start Grant to Fargo agency

 

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Head Start awarded a grant totaling $1,743,299 to Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency located in Fargo.

The grant is approved through the Administration for Children and Families Office of Head Start under HHS. Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency provides a range of services and activities designed to alleviate poverty and give low-income people the opportunity to improve their standard of living and achieve self-sufficiency. Head Start programs promote school readiness of young children and toddlers from low-income families by supporting early learning, health, and family well-being.
