ISight RPV Services gathers flooding imagery along Red River

ISight RPV Services, in partnership with the Red River Basin Commission, Ellingson Companies, Northern Plains UAS Test Site and Cass County Joint Water Resource District, is taking images this week along the Red River Valley from the Canadian border to the South Dakota border to gain better insight about the impacts of current flooding.

Many companies and individuals may benefit from these images, such as engineering firms, farmers, counties, and watershed districts along the Red River, in ND or MN.

“ISight is ready and able to support the Red River Valley flood effort by utilizing data we collected in 2019 and compare it to pictures we are taking this week. This should provide measurable insight to the flood fight,” said ISight CEO Tommy Kenville. “We are thankful that technology allows us the opportunity to provide this valuable service to those who need it.”

ISight is using five pilots, drones and a manned aircraft to fly more than 200 miles of the Red River Valley. If you’re interested in the data collected, please visit https://isightrpv.com/contactus.
