Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting has confirmed, to WZFG News, that an investigation is underway in regards to an incident that occurred in Baker, Minn. Baker is located 15 miles southeast of Moorhead, in Clay County.
"We cannot release much at this time, as we are early into it," Empting tells WZFG News. "We are attempting to determine exactly what took place."
Empting says the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting in the investigation.
