West Fargo Sports Arena, Hulbert Aquatic Center set to move into phase two

 

West Fargo’s Sports Arena, along with the Hulbert Aquatic Center, are set to begin the transition into phase two of the reopening plan, as set forth by North Dakota’s Smart Restart protocols.

The second of three phases will begin on Monday, June 29 with the facility being open to the public Monday – Friday from 10:00AM – 2:00PM and 6:30PM – 8:00PM. During this phase, private swim lessons, lap swim, restrooms, deck showers, lane rentals, and aqua fitness classes will be available to guests.

All guests visiting Hulbert Aquatic Center are to maintain the recommended six-foot social distancing parameter from other swimmers and staff members. Guests are to avoid entering the facility if they have a cough, fever, or other symptoms consistent with COVD-19; have recently tested positive for COVID-19 or are awaiting test results; or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

The second of three phases will begin on Monday, June 29 with the facility being open to private rentals and competitions daily from 8:00AM – 10:00PM. During this phase, one sheet of ice will be available to guests for use in fitness, technique, development drills, and competition play. Installation of the second sheet of ice has begun and is expected to be completed the second week of July. All guests will be asked to abide by the state’s restart protocols.

Guests are asked to arrive no earlier than ten minutes before their reservation and to arrive dressed to skate. Locker rooms are available only for participants of scheduled competitions and private rentals. Restrooms and drinking fountains are not available for use.
