2020 West Fest events adapted to follow COVID-19 safety protocols

During the Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, West Fargo City Commission meeting, commissioners approved a recommendation to continue the West Fest community celebration the week of Sept. 14, 2020, with adjustments due to COVID-19. Under this recommendation, the 2020 West Fest parade, family fun and street dance are canceled, but event organizers have been given approval to pursue the annual softball tournament, West Fest fun run, craft shop, kid-friendly concert and more.

Community organizations holding events during this week are encouraged to submit their event to be added to the official West Fest schedule by filling out the online form. The softball tournament, which has been confirmed, is now available to register via this online form. The annual Craft and Vendor Show is also now accepting vendor applications via this online form. Events will be added to the official West Fest schedule at https://www.westfargond.gov/762/West-Fest as they are confirmed.

Certain state and federal guidelines must be followed during the event, along with a new event structure. Masks are encouraged and will be placed throughout each event, and sanitizing and handwashing stations will be available. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms or have been recently exposed to a positive case, do not attend these events.
