City of Grand Forks to repair portion of the Greenway

A portion of the bike path in the Greenway will be closed starting Wednesday, September 2, 2020 as crews will be placing an asphalt overlay on the bike path.

The main project area will begin at the 7th Avenue North. entrance to the Greenway and extends north to the northend pedestrian bridge.  A second, minor repair site will be located adjacent to the Riverboat Road parking lot.

Construction vehicle will gain entrance to the Greenway at Red Dot Place, North 1st Street, 7th Avenue North, and Riverboat Road.  Cautionary signs will be located at these entrances.

The project is expected to be complete by September 15, 2020.

The rest of the trail system in the Greenway is still open.
