The second annual Jeremiah Program Journey for Hope gala raised over $290,000 to help families in the community thanks to a sold-out crowd. Proceeds will benefit a variety of programming needs such as child development resources, family services resources, housing, life coaching and empowerment classes.  It takes $28,000 to provide the needed housing and childcare resources for just one family. The fund-a-family portion of the program alone, raised enough funds to provide nearly five families with safe and affordable place to live, quality early childhood, empowerment and life skills training, and other assistance designed to position them for success as they pursue a college education. The annual travel-themed fundraising event was created to support the Jeremiah Program’s mission to support single mothers pursing career track education two generations at a time.
