Arrest Warrant Issued In Walsh County Burglary Case

 

An arrest warrant has been issued in a burglary case out of Walsh County.
According to court documents, Christopher Justin Hanson is facing two Class B Felony charges—one for burglary and one for theft of property.
The charges stem from a February 24 incident. The court documents say that Hanson broke into a residence in Fairdale, N.D., damaged closet doors and stole several firearms, which belonged to the owners of the residence. The residence was locked, an Hanson did not have permission to enter the residence.

In addition to stealing the firearms, Hanson stole a black 1999 Ford F-150. The pickup and firearms are valued at more than $10,000.

The investigation was conducted by the Walsh County and Cavalier County Sheriff’s Offices.

The arrest warrant was issued February 26 in the Northeast District Court in Grafton by District Court Judge Barb Whelan.
