Amachi Mentoring Receives $200,000 under HHS Opioid Response Planning

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Resources and Services Grant Office approved a grant of $200,000 for Amachi Mentoring based in Dickinson.

Amachi Mentoring is a partnership of a local faith based coalition and other community members that specializes in providing mentoring services to at-risk youths and children of prisoners in the Devils Lake region. The HHS discretionary grant is awarded under the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program.
