A Wednesday evening crash in Mahnomen County has injured six people and killed one.
According to the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s office, on Wednesday, at approximately 5:40 p.m., a report came in of a two-vehicle accident on 250th Street, east of County Road 3. The road surface is gravel, and the two vehicles met head-on at the crest of a hill.
A total of seven people were involved, four adults and three children. Six were flown to Fargo via Life Flight, and one by ambulance. The Sheriff’s Office says one of the seven died as a result of the accident.
The Sheriff’s Office says they will not release the name of the victim until all family are notified.
