Beginning mid-morning on Thursday, August 1, 42nd Street South will close between 4th and 9th Avenues South. The closure is needed for an emergency sewer repair on 42nd Street. Vehicles will be detoured to 40th Street South via 2nd and 9th Avenues South. The closure is expected to be in place until Friday, August 9.
