Grand Forks Woman Dies of Possible Drowning

The Grand Forks Police Department says a Grand Forks woman has died after a possible drowning on Wednesday evening. A Grand Forks PD press release says Grand Forks Police Department officers responded to a call of a possible drowning at a north Grand Forks residence at approximately 8:57 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, the adult female victim was unresponsive.  Lifesaving measures were attempted on scene, and she was transported to Altru for additional lifesaving measures, but she did not survive. Victim information is being withheld at this time, pending family notifications.
