(Moorhead, MN) -- A former Moorhead teacher is facing charges in connection with a child porn case.
Authorities say 25-year-old Caleb Brush uploaded several files online showing sexual abuse of children. Court records show police were tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone had uploaded suspected child porn to social media website Kik.
Records show Brush uploaded 19 images in a group message and through private messages in June 2021. Brush was hired by Moorhead Public Schools in December 2021 to teach social studies at the Moorhead Alternative Learning Center.
A spokesperson from the district says Brush was let go from the school district by February 23rd.
